I really like the other students in the group-- we all get along great. We're all feeling the stress of our classes and the workload, but having each other's encouragement and reassurance at the end of the day is a lifesaver. Plus we have fun on the weekends. Next up: a visit to the Russian Ice Capades and the Baltika brewery(fingers crossed!)So I'm having fun, and I'm getting an education. And I'm developing quite an affinity for seaweed salad andSoviet Champagne. Yum...

That is the ugliest dog I've ever seen. Lemme guess - half Pomeranian, half evil hairless muskrat.

Good guess. I'm not actually sure of what breed it comes from. Maybe it just came straight from the ugly tree.

If by "wisdom" you mean "bad pick-up lines," then yeah, Egyptians are full of it. A favorite of theirs is to ask us where we're from, and when we answer they say, "Oh, I don't believe you, because you are really from paradise!" Smooth, buddy. And before you ask, yeah, it hurt like a bitch when I fell from heaven.Pig brain and fresh eel? Hmm, let me guess-- you went to our favorite store! :) Sounds like an awesome fiesta. I'm sad about missing it too. We'll have to just have to party extra-hardy while I'm in town. Eel and pig brain optional.
